The Official Cannes Lions Partnership Attendee Experience

Event Farm served as the event tech production partner for the official Cannes Lions Partnership activation. Hosting a creative festival in Cannes France with several thought leaders and high profile brands requires trusted partners, tech, and support - amongst flawless planning and execution. Event Farm used in-house technology with some custom tweaking and production guidance to help drive Cannes Lions to a successful partnerships activation.

Registration

For the official partners activation, all registration was driven through this website https://clx.eventfarm.com, which served as the guest interface allowing ONLY INVITED guests to book time to meet with different partners. However, Cannes Lions management needed a way to approve individuals before granting them an official time slot to meet with other high profile partners. Event Farm - instead of working as a standard registration - added each registrant to a waitlist that gave Cannes Lions management access to manually approve each registrant and time-slot before sending a confirmation email. In a world full of technology, it takes great technology that provides solutions to help minimize human error and situations like allowing “Pepsi” and “Coke” execs to simultaneously discuss business with overlapping partners.

Event Check in

On-site guests with management approved sessions automatically synced to the Event Farm Check-In app and were checked-in their session by Cannes Lions staff using QR codes sent to them by email. Some of the sessions were held on yachts with limited WiFi, however, since Event Farm’s check-in app works offline, they were able to run smooth check-in and information synced back to Event Farm once the devices were connected to WiFi.
